Our project includes both the management of the emergency system and food ordering. The customer can use the payment wall to place meal orders and make payments. Regular customers will see their prior orders and be given suggestions based on their preferences. Orders can be accepted by the kitchen staff or chefs directly. Our design includes custom-designed door locks that are designed and developed by my team and have the capability to unlock doors using a manual keypad and a custom web interface. Additionally, a custom-designed system with integrated sensors that can sense LPG (liquid petroleum gas), CO (carbon monoxide), and smoke all at the same time will detect any type of perturbation in the gas level. Any aberrant readings will be indicated at the doors, and evacuation mechanisms will be activated. All of the doors will automatically open as part of the evacuation, and each door will generate an alarm to notify the people around. The system also has good fault tolerance and is easy to replace major components of the door and sensor systems, which increases its maintainability.
